Urban Decay Heavy Metals DUPE?!

Image
On My hand (top to bottom): Le Freak 5, Hustle 4, Glitz, Frunk  These little gems are amazing! and that is all I have to say, that is it end of review. Only joking, I will give you the low down as per usual; starting from the claims and all the way to the pro's and con's! These bad boys are from a brand called CollectionCosmetics (not to sure if they are only a UK based brand, sorry to all my international readers) and they are their Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner. I purchased these from Superdrug because I had heard some good things, and they did not disappoint especially for the amazing price of £2.99!! Right lets get to the website claims:  http://www.collectioncosmetics.co.uk/products/eyes/eyeliner/glam-crystals-dazzling-gel-liner - Fine glitter particles suspended in a clear, quick-drying gel. - Fine tip precision brush for easy application. - Adds instant glamour to any eye make-up look. 1. We Are All Completely SPEECHLESS

We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves - Karen Joy Fowler Genre: Fiction/Psychological Fiction Pages: 336 Rating: 4/5 Format: Non linear storyline, moves between memories and present _________________________________________________ *WARNING, SPOILERS FROM THE ONSET* This novel is a heartbreaking tale that challenges the orthodox ideals of family and relationships. Rosemary's father is a university professor who takes part in many studies and publishes many papers, one of these studies happens to be about her life. Her life growing up with Fern, who is also a Chimpanzee! That was a plot twist that I did not expect at all! The way that Fowler introduces Fern and her character is one that people would usually associate with a human sibling, this makes the reader just assume that she is human (what else would we think?) and this is what Fowler wanted. The effect of the reader initially thinking of Fern as human, gives us just a small indication of what Lowell and Rosemary

The Night Circus

The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern  Genre: Fantasy  Pages: 387 Rating: 3.5/5 Format: Fiction Organised By Dates  _________________________________________________________________________________ *WARNING THERE MAY BE SPOILERS IN THE REVIEW, APPROACH WITH CAUTION* _________________________________________________________________ I went into this novel with high expectations and excitement but I was left somewhat disappointed, so much so that I did not even finish the novel. I loved the idea of the story and the plot and I feel like it had great potential! It was just the fact that the plot took time to develop fully that I had a problem with, it became something that I did not want to pick up anymore.  BUT... Here are some of the things that I loved about this novel! First of, I loved the detail in setting and the time period that it was set. A lot of the novel focuses on different places and setting and Morgenstern does not shy away from deta

Holy Grail Mascara!

Image
I have been wanting to post this for so long but I just kept forgetting! No worries it is only a little beauty update and a way for me to share something that I am seriously loving at the moment. So if you have not already guessed by the title and the photos, this is my holy grail mascara! round of applause for… Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (not to be confused by the Lash Sensational Luscious), and I will tell you that it is most definitely sensational! I first heard about this product from an amazing youtuber called Kaushal https://www.youtube.com/user/BeautyFulfilled and thought I would give it a try, now I know why she loved it so much! The left eye is with the mascara and the right is without. This baby retails at around £8.99, which I think is a great deal. This mascara gives me the same effect of Benefit’s They’re Real, the same even coverage, same thickness, same fanned out and fake but dramatic look. I will be honest and state that I am now at that point in
